Letting go doesn’t mean giving up or being passive.

Letting go is doing your part and letting the Universe do its part.

Letting go is about keeping the faith.

What is detachment?

Detachment helps you live a better, stress-free life.

There is no forcing things to happen or people to behave in certain ways because you do not allow your ego to rule your life. Your soul gets in the driver’s seat.

As you are not emotionally attached to specific outcomes, you don’t worry or waste precious energy on controlling things you have no power over.

Here are the rules that will help you to let go and enjoy life:

Give your best.

Do what you can today to move in the direction of your goal without forcing things to happen.

When you feel resistance and interpret that things are against you, let go.

Do what is in your power for this moment, but as soon as you meet the resistance, let go. Give it to the Universe.

When working on a project, do what you can from your side, and let it go.

When you create YouTube content, give it your best with the tools you have and let it out into the world without checking statistics or manipulating algorithms.

The Universe is a powerful, all-knowing source, and it is futile to fight against it.

Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t.

— Steve Maraboli,

Allow things to unfold naturally and become an observer of events that unfold in front of you.

Don’t immediately interpret them as unfavourable or uncomfortable. Take them as they come and go. Mistakes are lessons. Roadblocks are redirections.

Life is never against you. It always serves you.

Trust.

The Universe always knows what you need at the moment to evolve and become a better version of your Higher Self.

It gives you clues. It unfolds paths you need to take. It will challenge you and make you stronger and wiser.

Life will give you exactly what you can handle at the moment.

Just because things don’t go according to your plans, it doesn’t mean they are not unfolding for your greater good.

Practice trusting the Universe every single day.

When your mind tricks you into thinking you know what is better for you, let go of your preferences. Quiet the mind. Meditate.

What if life leads you to a better place than you could have ever imagined?

You have no idea how many things are working in your favour right now, but it takes faith and patience.

Once you keep faith in the natural unfolding of life, it will take you somewhere special.

The universe is always conspiring to help us, if we only trust its wisdom.

— Ralph Waldo Emerson,

Let go of expectations.

Expectations mean control.

We expect good things as well as bad outcomes. Both introduce attachment to a specific outcome.

This attachment causes blockages. When you focus solely on one goal, you close yourself to limitless opportunities.

And the best solutions come with unlimited possibilities.

There are cosmic forces more powerful than you and it is impossible to control them. It is better to let go of expectations for a happier life.

A certain degree of expectations can have a positive influence on your actions. However, if you feel that your expectations lead to disappointment and frustration, learn to let go and be more flexible.

Take life as it is. Look for beauty in the mundane. Turn anxiety into excitement. Perceive obstacles as valuable experiences to learn from.

Letting go of expectations mean not being a slave to the outside circumstances. Learn to trust that whatever life brings will serve for your greater good.

Why worry about things you can’t control when you can keep yourself busy controlling the things that depend on you?

— John C. Maxwell,

Enjoy the season.

Life has its seasons. Just like the weather.

In winter, you enjoy the cosy fireplace, candles and hot cocoa. But there are times when you cannot stand the cold any more.

Then, the summer comes along, and you are thrilled about the sun kissing your cheeks, the abundance of seasonal fruit and veggies and walking barefoot on the grass. But somewhere along the way, you complain about the sweltering heat and dry patches of grass.

That’s just life. It is not always perfect, but it is our job to find perfection in the imperfect.

Do your best to enjoy the present season of your life because, in a month, you can be in a completely different space, physically and mentally.

Every season is here for a reason. To have fun and play. To rest or pick the harvest. Embrace every process and appreciate where you are today.

Look forward to the next phase of your life but always remain grateful for where you are today.

The present moment is filled with joy and happiness. If you are attentive, you will see it.
