Here are some quotes from the book:
âAny fool can criticize, complain, and condemn â and most fools do. But it takes character and self-control to be understanding and forgiving.â
âYou can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.â
âEverybody in the world is seeking happiness â and there is one sure way to find it. That is by controlling your thoughts. Happiness doesnât depend on outward conditions. It depends on inner conditions.â

Atomic Habits by James Clear

Atomic Habits is a great book. It discusses innovative ways to build positive habits (and break bad ones). The book also talks about the psychology behind habits, and being consistent when following a daily routine.

Goodreads
Here are some quotes from the book:
âEvery action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become. No single instance will transform your beliefs, but as the votes build up, so does the evidence of your new identity.â
âWhen nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that last blow that did it â but all that had gone before.â
âAll big things come from small beginnings. The seed of every habit is a single, tiny decision. But as that decision is repeated, a habit sprouts and grows stronger. Roots entrench themselves and branches grow. The task of breaking a bad habit is like uprooting a powerful oak within us. And the task of building a good habit is like cultivating a delicate flower one day at a time.â
Elon Musk by Ashlee Vance
Page Count: 392
Rating on Goodreads: 4.21
Iâve never been a huge fan of biographies. So, I had low expectations for this book when I read it for the first time. However, Elonâs story is fascinating. Even if you donât like Elon as a person, youâll probably enjoy it!
Elon Musk grew up in poverty in South Africa. His family wasnât rich. But every day, he read books and did everything within his power to understand new things. He also spent a lot of time learning about engineering â and other topics that would prove useful at Tesla & SpaceX.
Itâs a brilliant book!
Goodreads
Here are some quotes from the book:
âIf you told him that you made a particular choice because âit was the standard way things had always been done,â heâd kick you out of a meeting fast.â
âThere are probably too many smart people pursuing internet stuff, finance, and also law. That is part of the reason why we havenât seen as much innovation.â
âWhat Musk has developed that so many of the entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley lack is a meaningful worldview. Heâs the possessed genius on the grandest quest anyone has ever concocted. Heâs less a CEO chasing riches than a general marshaling troops to secure victory. Where Mark Zuckerberg wants to help you share baby photos, Musk wants to . . . well . . . save the human race from self-imposed or accidental annihilation.â

I love The Personal MBA. In the book, Josh shares the essentials of sales, marketing, negotiation, strategy, and much more. He also breaks down complex topics in a way thatâs easy for anyone to understand.
âTrue leaders arenât made by business schools,â per Goodreads. âThey make themselves, seeking out the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to succeed. Read this book and in one week you will learn the principles it takes most people a lifetime to master.â
Goodreads
Here are some quotes from the book:
âLearn everything you can from your competition, and then create something even more valuable.â
âEvery time your customers purchase from you, theyâre deciding that they value what you have to offer more than they value anything else their money could buy at that moment.â
âExperimentation is the essence of living a satisfying, productive, fulfilling life. The more you experiment, the more you learn, and the more youâll achieve.â
