So easy a caveman probably did them.
Life is hard enough without trying to figure out all these fancy techniques you think other people are doing.
Here’s a dirty little secret…
All the successful people you envy…they’re habitually boring.
Learn More
They do the same “boring” habits every single day then let compounding do its thing.
So, to have similar results, do similar things.
It’s not rocket science. It just requires an actual desire to want to be the person you say you want to be.

Sleeping 7+ hours
Sleep provides the amazing returns you’d expect from a futuristic drug.
Sharper mind, more energy, happier thoughts.
People who get 7+ hours of sleep outperform everyone else.
So while it seems like they’re working extra hours, they’re really just more deeply focused during the same 8 hour days you have.
Exercising 30 minutes per day
I do a 15–20 minute weight workout 4x per week and about 60 minutes of (on purpose) walking per day.
Everyone’s looking for ways to halt the side effects of aging, well exercise is the big one.
Getting direct sunlight, especially in the morning and evening
This is all about setting your circadian rhythm for success. With a happy side effect of extra vitamin D.
Morning sunlight wakes you up. Evening sunlight tells your body it’s time to wind down.
Creating deep work blocks
Mine is 6am until 8 or 9 am, depending on the day.
Those 21 hours per week build my entire side hustle.
Use whatever time works for you. Just block out all distractions and get your ass to work!

Jotting tomorrow’s plan before bed
Take a notecard and write down the top items you need to finish.
Then work your way through that notecard during your deep work block.
If you do this daily, it’s really hard to lose.
Owning your first 2–3 hours of the day
Hit snooze 2–3 times, stumble out of bed, pee, grab coffee, stare at the wall.
Too many people start their day this way.
You want to own your time. This way it can’t away from you.
And if you own your morning, you win the day 9 times outta 10.

Daily gratitude practice
Wake up and be thankful. Do it again before bed.
List off all the things you’re thankful for. Or at least a bunch of them.
It’s really hard to have a miserable life if you’re constantly reminding yourself how good it is.
Also, your outward energy changes and people are more open toward you.
