Meditating 10+ Minutes —

I know this is an almost overdone habit, but I am not even sorry to be that guy that says this again, because through the self-awareness I gathered meditating I was able to avoid hundreds of pitfalls. I was able to stop myself from falling deeper into procrastination so many times and was almost instantly able to figure out what I needed to do next. This has saved me more money and lead to bigger results in the long term than anything else.

Working A Little Each Day —

Committing to 500 words a day was enough to snowball me to where I am today. Over the course of the last years my skills have grown from “completely awful” to being featured multiple times in TIME, Huffington Post and more. And I would say I had no natural talent for writing at all to begin with. It was all simply hard work. (500,000 words written and >1,000 articles published before seeing any kind of success).

Reading At Least 10 Pages —

You can only achieve the results you know how to achieve. You do not have to re-invent the wheel, find out how to be happy, successful, or why 2+2=4 if someone else already figured it out. But you do have to learn about the wheel, happiness or the number 4 somewhere to know how to get there. Books are the greatest source to the most information. Right now you are mostly limited by what you do not know. Bridge that gap. The more knowledge you have the more tools you have to get what you want!

Taking Care Of My Body —

It is surprising how important your self-image truly is. Once you work on looking how you want to look it changes everything. Remember that every area of life is connected; once you start improving one the others will be pulled along (and vice versa). When I worked out consistently, ate well, and slept enough everything got a bigger boost than I expected.

Having A Coaching Call Every Week —

Since I started my journey I have paid a coach to be my side every step of the way. This guy lead me to do what is important, kept me grounded and was there for me when I needed them, even if it was just someone to talk to about something. But more than that, he called me out on my own excuses, did not allow me to fall too deep and even gave me a slap in the face every time I needed it. The value I received was worth MUCH more than I paid him for and I cannot thank him enough for it.

Planning My Time —

How I spent my 24 hours largely reflected both the results I got and the state I was in. It somehow always came to pass that when I did nothing I felt like crap and got nothing out of life. When I worked hard, spent my 24 hours consciously or planned my time I usually got more than I bargained for. Funny how that worked out.

Standing Back Up —

There were a lot of times where I did give up or missed a day on my consistent habits. Sometimes this was just a day, other times it was a week or even a month. But no matter what, once I noticed that my life was going downhill I restarted. Yes, I missed a lot of opportunities, yes, I was not perfectly consistent, yes, I did make mistakes, but I kept going anyway. In the end it is not how many hits in a row you get but how many overall that opens the gates to success.
