We all have those days where we just don’t feel like being productive. We would rather lounge around and do nothing.
But, there are still things that need to be done. So, how can we be productive when we’re feeling lazy?
The RAD system is a great way to be productive when you’re feeling lazy.
RAD stands for “Rapid Actionable Development.” This system was created by Jürgen Wolff, a productivity expert.
Here’s how it works:
- Set a timer for one hour.
- Work on a task for that hour.
- Take a five-minute break.
- Repeat steps two, three and four more times.
This system is great because it doesn’t require a lot of motivation. You only have to work on a task for one hour. And, you get a five-minute break in between. So, you’re not overwhelmed or bogged down by a task.
Plus, this system is flexible. If you only have 30 minutes, you can work for 30 minutes and take a three-minute break. Or, if you have two hours, you can work for two hours and take a ten-minute break.
The RAD system is a great way to be productive when you’re feeling lazy. It’s flexible and it doesn’t require a lot of motivation. So, if you’re feeling lazy, give the RAD system a try.
